M asked: I’m not really into fantasy. Like harry potter and stuff, lord of the rings was alright. I’ve never tried Science Fiction but I’d like to have something that at least sounds fairly realistic.
I don’t like things about vampires etc.
Please no ***** lit, unless it’s romance that isn’t too cheesy.
I’ve pretty much read most of the major classics so that’s out.

sarah asked: Does anybody have any good that I can read. I have to do 6 book reports a year and we have to pick the books. I am a freshmen in highschool and am in a christian school so no curse words or anything with adult content. It also has to be a book that you can learn something from. Here are some example genres - classics, fiction, historical fiction, christian fiction, general information, biography, science fiction, and romance. These are just examples, they don’t have to be from just these subjects.
Please help, I am not good at choosing books. So can you post the book and what you learned from it.
Daniel

makeitcount asked: Hi, I’m in search of a good book to read and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
I like anything from science fiction to romance..classics to more modern stuff. Some of my favorites are Wuthering Heights, Angels and Demons, 1984, The Kite Runner and Harry Potter. Ideally I’m looking for stuff that is not TOO “teen-y” (though I will admit I read the Twilight series and loved it lol).
I really appreciate any suggestions. Or even just telling me some of your favorite books would be great.

WhiteWolf359 asked: I have to vote for my all time fave-”A Boy and His Dog” by Harlan Ellison. Still a classic! I also liked the original, serialized version of what became the novel “The Dying of the Light” by George R.R. Martin. The serial version was called “After the Festival,” I think. What’s your favorite?
