   I always think of Steve from Family Matters or Screech from Saved by the Bell. Those probably aren’t your every day geeks, I think that is in the eye of the beholder.

   to me it is someone who is very Odd, they are not into the “norm” of things. Very smart, knows off the wall things that rarely come up in conversation. Loves to calculate everything, problem solvers so to speak, most are shy and awkward, keep to themselves or others that are also “geeks”.
   does not play sports, nor watch it for that matter. Not good with the ladies. Odd question but a fun one to answer. Thanks.
