<a href="">Darlene</a>

The Star Wars series has always been pretty unabashedly unscientific. Spaceships going "whoosh" in the vacuum of outer space? A giant worm with teeth living on an asteroid? Dozens of planets with humanly breathable air and humanoid aliens? I haven't even gotten into "the Force." None of this, of course, is to criticize Star Wars, which was never intended to be anything more than a space opera. But I definitely would not call it "science-based."
