What are some books that make for “light” reading?

It doesn’t have to be extremely light, I just don’t want something immensely thought-provoking. I’d like something enjoyable. Are there any Classics that are light? As I enjoy reading those the most but I’ll read anything, really. Autobiographies/Biographies are nice as well. Please, no Science Fiction.

Name some Fantasy/Sci-fi novels that are considered to be classics please?

not what YOU think is a classic, what is CONSIDERED a classic. And by classic I mean, for example, Tom Sawyer (is that spelled right?) or A Tale of Two Cities are considered classics, but I mean books considered classics in these specific genres.
