What’s a great book to read on a plane?

I’m flying from California to Spain and need something really good to read for the flight. Some of my favorite books include Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, Pride & Prejudice, The Giver, Wicked, and the Outlander series. I usually read “classics” or just plain fiction, and I’m not too into mystery, thrillers, or science fiction.

I need a good Folktale, Classic or Science Fiction Book?

I need one for English because we have to choose a genre we haven’t already read. I could also read a Nonfiction, Mythology or historical fiction book.
Just to get a sense, my favorite books are Twilight by S. Meyer, Ender’s Game by O.S.Card and All American Girl by Meg Cabot.
