I like classic books since I haven’t read a lot of them but I just would like to know if there are any books that are like a must-read. I really like almost anything except I don’t really like romance, science-fiction, or murder/mystery. Almost anything else I like and stuff with some of that in it is okay. So if anyone can suggest some books that would be great. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone has any books to reccomend?
I pretty much read everything there is, except science fiction, but I’m willing to try reading some if there’s a good sci fi book.
I like historical novels alot, and classic stuff, but I’m seriously willing to read ANYTHING good.
Thanks guys =)

But I’m not really into science-fiction of any kind, or something too romantic.
To give you a clue, I like for instance: “The God of Small Things”, “The English Patient”, The Great Gatsby, Salinger, Kerouac, Julian Barnes, Albert Camus…
Classics are welcome also…

What is the mass of the meteorite that the physicist in The Atom(1960’s comic book) carries to his lab?

In the classic 1960’s science-fiction comic book The Atom, a physicist discovered a basketball-sized meteorite (about 10 cm in radius) that is actually a fragment of a white dwarf star. With some difficulty, he manges to hand-carry the meteorite back to his laboratory. Estimate the mass of such a fragment, and what is the plausibility if this scenario?
